Strategic Planning Session - Greenville

  • McMillan Pazdan Smith 400 Augusta Street Greenville, SC, 29601 United States (map)

Dear SCNOMA Family,

In less than two years since establishing ourselves as the South Carolina Chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects, we have achieved so many wonderful things.

We have launched our social presence, hosted our first "Say it Loud" Exhibition at the Center for Architecture in Columbia, and just last week, held "Say it Loud(er)" in Greenville. We also wrapped up our first-ever Project Pipeline. We are incredibly proud of our team and how we've come together to accomplish so much in the early years of our chapter.

Project Pipeline has been our largest undertaking, and our entire membership and board collaborated to create an incredible experience for everyone involved. It is in those in-between moments of planning, meetings, and last-minute scrambling that we truly build the bonds that strengthen our SCNOMA community. Just like the joys of those late nights in the studio, these moments foster open conversations, friendships, mentorship, and the heart of what our organization is all about.

As we look ahead to the upcoming years, we want your input to set the direction and priorities of our chapter. And to facilitate this, we have planned three strategic planning sessions, located in each region: Low Country (Charleston), Midlands (Columbia), and the Upstate (Greenville). Please take a moment to fill out the survey below to share your thoughts and vision for OUR chapter. We encourage you to attend your respective meetings in person to build on these ideas, but if that is not possible, we still request that you fill out the survey and/or attend virtually.

We want to hear from you and understand your needs so we can collectively build a strategic plan for our SCNOMA chapter.

We look forward to hearing from you,

Tiara Willams and Janet Zuckerman
SCNOMA
