WHO WE ARE

The South Carolina Chapter of the National Organization of Minority Architects (SCNOMA) mission is to empower and amplify the underrepresented members of our creative community.

SCNOMA serves as a source of guidance, leadership, and support; continuously striving for an inclusive and diverse architectural profession. The organization serves as an advocate for people of color through its engagement with equity and justice.

  • Fostering communication, fellowship, and mentorship among minority architects through community building and connection.

  • Enriching the development and growth of minority students, emerging professionals, architects, and educators in the field of architecture.

  • Promoting access to architectural education, learning opportunities, and engagement with architecture and design.

  • Facilitating collaboration with allied organizations and communities.

  • Sustaining a network of community and support for all professionals navigating career milestones, challenges, and the moments in between.
